Alumnus Charles Minkah – Premo Inspires Students with Alternative Career Choices

When we think of successful careers, our minds often go straight to traditional professions like doctors, lawyers, and engineers. However, many alternative paths can lead to a fulfilling and successful career. One such path is the creative industry, and one former student of SOS-HGIC is making waves in this field. Charles Minkah Premo aka Dj Yamz (2012), an upcoming artist, recently spoke at the school assembly, where he shared his journey from being a student at SOS-HGIC to pursuing his passion for music production.

He emphasized the importance of following one’s passion and exploring alternative career paths. “I want to encourage all the students to pursue their passions, no matter how unconventional they may seem,” he said. “It is essential to take risks and step outside of your comfort zone to discover what truly excites you.” Mr. Minkah Premo’s speech was an inspiration to the students who were present. His journey was proof that with hard work and dedication, one can pursue a career in the creative industry and achieve success. “Dj Yamz’s story was truly inspiring,” said one of the students. “It is great to see someone who was in our shoes a few years ago, following their passion.”
