BOOK LAUNCH: It’s Your World, Evangeline!”

The Book Launch of Natasha N. Nettey’s book titled , “It’s Your World, Evangeline!” took place

on Thursday, 5th January, 2023 at the Labadi Beach Hotel. The Launch was chaired by His

Lordship Yonny Kulendi, Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana and the Master of Ceremonies of the event was Mrs. Anita Erskine, talk show host of ‘Sheroes of our time’. The Launch included book recommendations by Mrs Eliz Dadson, principal of SOS-HGIC, Mrs Elizabeth-Irene Baitie, award winning author of fiction for children and young adults, Ms Beryl Stanley-Marbell, owner of Sytris Bookshop, as well as a book review by Dr. Mary Ashun, principal of Ghana International School and author of Tuesday’s Child, Serra Akoto’s Diary and Several Short Stories.

The Launch also included an interview with the author, Natasha N. Nettey, where she spoke

about what prompted her to  write this book and why she focused on teenage insecurities. She wanted to show other teenagers that they are not alone and that there are always people ready to help them overcome their challenges. The book was officially launched by a representative from the Ministry of Education, and then auctioned, led by Mr. Nana K.D. Benneh of UMB Bank. The book was as a result of Natasha’s personal project, and after the project she decided to add more to her product and publish her book.
